I believe it was all about her wanting him to connect with her in the sense that you force me to kill my husband. Theo struggled with his father, as did Alicia, and they both left home the first chance they got he said to her and I think she wanted him to know the same from her P.O.V .When her father claimed he wanted her to die instead of his wife, and Gabriel did the same, it triggered her, and I believe she wanted him to know he did it.She wanted him to feel apologetic and terrible, as well as notify him about the stalker she knew and possibly tell him you didn’t get away with it. She also wanted him to meet her family, see what she went through, and try to bury the past and her bought it all up back ,in a way it was to make him know that you kill him as much I did and you also killed me too
