Mira Thank you so much, Sheila! I appreciate you sharing your opinion on it with me. I keep going back and forth in my decision to read it and since I absolutely admire Turing and his achievements, I thought his presence in the novel would help me make up my mind :D It's def going to my to read list right now! <3

Sheila I hope you enjoy it, Mira. Some fictional depictions of Turing, being so inaccurate, are offensive, as in The Imitation Game.. McEwan's fictional version i, being a projection into the future, is obviously 'fantasy', but I didn't find it offensive (I can't speak for Turing;s family, though!)
