         Yes, but in the beginning the crash landing is how she ends up going to Egypt - on a whim. Then, when we learn about it later, it turns out that's when she's actually returning FROM Egypt... That's what confuses me.

         Exactly what Katy said. I was extra confused because after the crash in the beginning, she gets cleared by a doctor and is told she can have a plane voucher for her troubles and she picks to go to Egypt.

         Whitney, if you reread the part about the crash again you will find that she was never cleared by a doctor, she says so herself (p.4 ). The entire converstation with the representative from the airline takes place while Wyatt is getting stitches for his head injury and Dawn collapses before she can go anywhere. So chronologically, what we read in the Prologue happesn towards the end of the story.
