And I want to thank you for your characterizations. As a woman that has been reading science fiction (and fantasy) since early grade school (and close to your own age), it took me awhile to realize that my favorite titles had the better-drawn characters.
Your books clicked from the beginning... not only the characters, but the machinations of Miles' thinking and subsequent actions. But this applies to all of yours.
It is so interesting to read reviews. People could be reading completely different books.
