KP No worries about the long answer, it was fun to read your opinion!

KP I was just thinking about this book and I looked back at your comment that whenever you settle a problem, you get slapped with a new one.

If you haven't read the third book yet, don't read on.

In the third book, there are the plagues that are released. What do you think would be some problems regarding the diseases? I'm asking because the author made it seem like the diseases were the perfect solution, or at least the best one at the time.

Take your time to think this question over if you need to and I certainly don't mind a long answer like before. I just think that it is a really interesting question to think about.
Thanks a lot and I really appreciate it!

Amelia That's an awesome question! It's been a while since I read these books(I really need to reread the series), so some of these details might be off.
I think the main issue is that human kind isn't really expecting anything. Suddenly all these plagues are released, and they won't know how to control them. I'm guessing everyone would be sent into a mass panic, and it would take a while for them to reform society. Scythe's were a big part of life, and if they no longer exist, you're going to have a lot of problems.
Now, I can't remember is any of the scythes stayed on earth, but if they did, I'm sure there would be some who are still yearning for the power they once held, which would also cause a lot of problems.
Thanks for asking this though, because it was really fun to think about. I never fully pondered what would happen after the third book, so it was really cool to think about.
