Deborah Taylor-French Sherri, that's wonderful that you wrote about your eleven years of writing to arrive at a completed book. I've never written about my self study in fiction. I focus on the mystery genre because it's a solid start at learning how to hook and keep readers. I have not been disappointed. Yet I think readers might like to read how and where I learned my craft, libraries and workshops fill my need for knowledge. Plus, doing that while I wrote my dozen Red Sky at Night: Dog Leader Mysteries drafts helped me stay on track.

Sherri Leimkuhler Yes! Readers often want to know about an author's journey.
