Thank you. We await the next book with baited breath!!
Hope this means you got the headache thing sorted out? Been checking daily for that next title. It is Very good to see you active. There are so many ??? Of late...sadly. Thanks
This is unfortunately not the first time we've heard nothing for a while. The gap between book 4 and 5 was torture. I wish he just gave us periodic updates to say he's still alive and well even if he's made little to no progress in writing.
I got a response when I went through his website:
Hi Chris,
It’s been a hectic year all around. To be honest, the website has been pushed way back on the list of priorities, and I apologise for that. The reason, no, the excuse, is that COVID added to my workload more than imagined. That, combined with family and health issues, has meant that I’ve had to put some work to one side.
As for writing, I’ve finished 150,000 words of the next Atherleah book, and I’m on the home stretch, I hope. I’ve finished a third of Book 1 in one of the future series in the same universe. Another third of a book in a separate universe and several (10) episodes in the series I write in another name. I’ve tried forcing myself to write in a particular series, but the brain puts up what they call a writer’s block until I get the thoughts on paper. So, for example, I’ve just written 130,000 words in a new serial series in the last two weeks. Once that’s down, then I’m hoping to do the same and finish ‘War’. I think that’ll happen because the last few nights, I’ve fallen asleep as the next part of war plays through my head.
Thanks, Tony
So glad some heard from him back in May! I was getting worried. Work took off on me so I hadn’t had a chance to check lately. Anymore updates? It is getting close to Sept and I believe that was the month the last Storm Book came out.
I contacted Tony through his website and asked about the release date for book 8, this is what he replied. "Finishing the cover and editing right now. I hope to have it out this week." Something to look forward to this month!
Wow! Awesome news! Gonna start rereading the series in preparation and celebration! Thank you for the update. It made my day!
Just to note, I dont think this is the completed arc as originally planned. Book 8 got too long and I think he has split it. Book 9 should be the end of the arc.
Has anyone heard anything more? I've been rechecking if the book is online daily but no luck so far. Super hyped for book 8 :D
Since Tony put his books on the Kindle Unlimited program, it means that the only place you will find it is on amazon since KU requires exclusivity. Here is the link.
