George Either he's 6, or he's over a millennium old ...

message 3: by Finn (new)

Finn Its irrational to think that a 9 year old doesn't already have this knowledge, especially in the year we live in

Nicole Yes, by Grade 4 children will have learned how reproduction works in school...

Lisa The majority of comments on this answer are so not true. I am a former teacher and a mother. Lots of kids do not know this at 9 years old. It's certainly not a part of the school curriculum. That comes in 8th grade. I'm guessing most of the people answering this question are not around children very much.

Sonea Or from different countries?
You think everyone lives exactly where you do?
I am from middle europe and it is 100% a part of the curriculum for everyone, not in great details for 9 year olds, but age appropriately it is taught.

Lisa It sounds like you were offended by my answer. If so, I apologize. This just happens to be a question that I ask a lot and if this was mentioned in a book I was considering for a child, I would want to know beforehand and the above is my reason.

Nicole I assume Lisa is American, Sonea. It's not news that the country doesn't teach how reproduction works 😂
