So no one died? Who was stabbed in the neck, or was that figment of his fantasy? I think his last days of living in a fantasy world where he could have a good job and a relationship dovetailed with his suicide. He was thinking of ending things, then was overwhelmed with "what are you waiting for?" and went ahead with it.
