I just finished "The Empire of Gold," and it was brilliant! Have you read "The Books of Ambha" by Tasha Suri?
I've read the first one! I was just telling someone about Amun the other day...I have Realms of Ash, but haven't gotten to it yet.
I enjoyed "The Realm of Ash" more than I did "The Empire of Sand," but it's because the story comes full circle. You'll know what I mean once you've read it!
