I'm also a huge fan! My book club started with 'The Company of Liars' and I was hooked ever since. Unfortunately, so many of the titles are unavailable in our libraries or book stores. The books stores either have copies of the titles I've already read, or they have copies in French, but not English. Can your publisher please send some books to the Toronto Public Libraries (in Canada), please? :) I've been waiting to read 'The Vanishing Witch' for a long time! ;)
I'm no author but I do translate books and I might say when I go through the whole process of proof reading, it feels the same to me :) It's as if somebody else translated the novel. Yay! I'm not alone! (By the way I read 3 or 4 novels from you so far and I just LOVED them)

Audrey, I am so interested that it has happened to you as well. It's a really odd feeling, isn't it? Almost like the person who wrote/translated the book is you but a 'you' living in another life or universe.
And I should have said in my first answer that 'THE DROWNED CITY' will be published under the name K.J.Maitland. So, it seems my other 'me' has a name!
