I was also thinking that maybe she made it to district 13 or if that didn't exist she found other rebels and created district 13.
I thought that too but I think when Katniss started singing The Hanging Tree Song. President Coin, didn't show any recognition to it when they used it for the "Mockingjay" promo. Plus when she held that meeting with the victors at the end to continue the Hunger Games or not-once again no hint that she's been there and done that and was a victor too.
she probably does not fit into katniss' story. the covey knew the song.
That would make President Coin about 80 years old.
If she made it to district 13, maybe she could have been Alma Coin's mother.
