I read it as longer. Nicoletta was 18 (going on 19) in Shadow Warrior and a few weeks from 21 in Shadow Flight. I was guessing at the very least 2 years passed and the baby was in the ballpark of 18months? but I guess in the scheme of things that is several months and still very young, so never mind.
That is the feeling I got (about 18months) from the "play" that the Ferrero's were going on about.
