Wow reminds me of stories my dad tells of growing up in Iowa in the 30's. Their source of heat was a coal stove in the basement that heated the main floor. He slept upstairs with his brothers and in the winter it would be soooo cold that his toes would be curled up when he woke up. lol
I'm glad my post reminded you of a special family memory. Thanks for sharing this with me, Jeanne! It makes me very grateful for central heating. :-)

Does it means that Amish people are decreasing their distances from modern world?Have they made such developments?Slow combustion heaters
