Wait . . . a non-magical Aladdin retelling?! Mind. Blown.
Yeah, it was rather impressive in that respect. I've only read one other one...and this one is better than that one. Which was written Melanie Dickerson.
Huh. I have yet to read either, and now you've got me intrigued!
