Don't you just love this book? I used to re-read this book annually it's so delightful. You just reminded me that I need to go back to it. But as they say "So many books, so little time." Thanks for refreshing my memory of one of favorite "book crushes".
I have the rest of the series I've just always for some reason not liked books that are a series. I do love the Jamie/Claire story so I'm thinking I'll give it a go.
I read the book about 8 times before finally deciding to go on to the next one. I expected to be disappointed, because sequels are never as good as the first book. Except I was wrong. It is completely beyond me how a person can keep up the tension and storyline over such an extreme span of time and volume! The story just grows and grows and there are always new and exciting things happening - so yes, Shelby, give it a go! You won't regret it.
