I definitely prefer real books but my kindle is so convenient for travel and library books?

I like both. Kindle is easier to travel with but i like the feel (and smell of a good book, the older the better). I have issues with audio, mainly I find many narrator's annoy me. I usually like authors reading their works or an actor who's voice I find appealing can work for a book so audiobooks are few and far between. A few historians are also on my good listens list as well.
You read a book in a coffee shop, but when you are cosy in bed and your kid needs to sleep next to you, you'll read on a Kindle. I think its a win-win for me - Coz all I want to do is read! Just as Pooh said to Piglet, it is the journey that matters. How do you do it? Well, it does not matter!
Holding a real book in my hands as I turn the pages is always my first choice. Using my kindle reader is best when I'm waiting for scheduled appointments.
I move a lot. And I used to have a large book collection, until someone who also moves a lot referred to them as "paper bricks." That resonated with me so much that I immediately sold my collection to a used book store and started using an e-reader.I haven't looked back since.

It has been proven that reading a physical book is better for retention and understanding when compared to eReaders. While I agree that it is more convenient, it's not as good for your brain.
Holding a physical book will always be preferable for me, but I've been using that app Libby where you can get digital copies from your library on your phone or tablet, and now I can read a chapter on a walk, which is really nice.Caveat. Unless it only exists digitally, I will insist on reading physical comics and graphic novels. My slight acceptance of digital is prose only haha.
I guess it depends on the situation you're in. I am a student and I have no earnings so I have to depend on ebooks or websites that provide the soft copy of the book that I am looking for. I was a literary student so I have to buy a lot of books for that. When you are travelling on your bus or train or whatever transportation you use I think having an e copy is good -coz if at all the person next to you accidentally spills their coffee, it damages both your mood and the book. I got that experience. Also I think it also depends on the financial situation. I had to buy my books from a thrift book shop. I really wanted to buy a fresh new book. Its just that each week I have to buy new books so I am using my pocket money for it and I have to cut out my travel expenses for it which made it quite tough. But I still I am in situation like- I am the middle of the sea where my left is ebooks and my right is hard copies. when you read a hard copy book if you find a line that's very inspiring you could underline it you can just write whatever you feel but it doesn't happen on an ecopy so that also kind of sucks.
Physical books, for sure! I absolutely love the smell of books, and I don't think an e-reader could ever replace that experience for me. That being said, I've moved three times in the past three years, and let me tell you, moving an entire book collection is NOT fun. So, while my heart belongs to physical books, I can definitely appreciate the convenience of a kindle when it's time to pack up my life into boxes again.
I prefer print. The reason is that the feel of the physical book is nostalgic. I usually pick a real book at home and my phone or e-reader when travelling.
I prefer a print, Because I cannot read on a kindle, Since my eyes will get tired quicker. I also just like the feel of a print book.
