Hello, I’m the author, B J Felix. The Kindle edition of The World Before the Noise is free to buy on Amazon on 16–17 October 2026, Pacific time. The offer ends at 08:00 BST on Sunday 18 October.
For adults choosing fantasy for ages 9–12: eleven-year-old Emily lives in Killeen, Texas, while her father serves away with the military; she paints three unfamiliar mountains, then wakes beneath them, beginning an adventure about kindness, courage, responsibility and belonging.

I wrote the story myself. AI helped with editing, not storytelling, and with artwork under my direction.
