I'm Richard Nolk, author of my debut novel, Unsavable, a dark psychological thriller published in September 2026.
About the book:
Daniel is a grieving father who lost his five-year-old daughter in a horrific accident two months earlier. Shattered by guilt and wasting away in a psychiatric facility, his waking hours are devoured by obsessive routines designed to block out the memories of that day, while he prays desperately for a way forward in his life.
Spiralling into madness, Daniel receives his answer in the form of a severed arm that appears on his hospital room floor, its midnight-black fingers twitching, reaching for him, and with it comes the unthinkable idea of what he must do before he finally takes his own life:
Daniel is going to save his dead daughter.
Unsavable is a fast-paced, character-driven psychological thriller that takes readers on an emotionally charged, unpredictable ride through shocking twists and devastating moral dilemmas, testing just how far a father will go to save his child.
The novel is approximately 306 pages and is available in Kindle and paperback editions, as well as through Kindle Unlimited.
