Hieronymus Day Curious to know where you get your physical books
❤️ online retail site
💜 chain bookstore
💛 independent bookstore
🩵 mostly digital/audio

If you buy physical books, do you buy only new, mostly new, some new but mostly used, only used?

And would you go to a bookstore exclusively selling crime, mystey, thrillers?
Yes
Maybe
Probably not

PamG While I mostly buy digital books, I still buy some physical books.
For those, I get them from online retail sites, chain bookstores, independent bookstores, Half Price Books, used book stores, and Friends of the Library book sales.

I definitely would go to a bookstore exclusively selling crime, mystery, and thrillers.

Richard Nolk For myself, I get mine from Amazon. Kinda lame, I know, but it's the truth.

Chris Johnson I buy mostly digital books since 2015. I don’t remember the last time I bought myself a physical book.

Mike the Magnificient Most of the books I buy are digital for the Kindle. I keep lists of the books I'm interested in buying or the ones needed to complete a series. I check the lists every day and buy when the book goes on sale. I also collect Kindle Reward points to get discounts on book buys. And I charge my purchases on an Amazon credit card which also gives me points to buy books as well.

Sometimes a book I want is not available on Kindle. So these physical books are purchased either through Amazon or on ebay.
