Did not love this author's first book, but am still going to try this one. Have seen some amazing reviews. 🌟
Beautiful review Caz! So happy this was a pleasure to read! Hope your current read is just as good!! ❤️
Sounds like the sort of story that makes you absolutely root for the main character! Glad you loved it 💚
Lovely review, Caz! So happy you had such a good time, the story and the writing keeping you turning the pages! ❤️❤️
I am glad to see how much you enjoyed this one! I love how you described your reading experience. Outstanding review, Caz!
This sounds fascinating and frustrating and like it could have actually happened! I hope Debra got the recognition she deserved. Lovely review babe, so happy you enjoyed 💖💕
It's so sad and hurtful that the only way her work was recognized was when she submitted it under a man's name. I understand her desperation though. I'm glad that you enjoyed reading this book so much, my friend! I hope that the female writer became famous as herself after all! ☺️
this is such a fabulous premise 🔥 it's enraging, but also an ode to the resilience and resourcefulness of so many women who have refused to sit back and accept unfair treatment 🖤 gorgeous beauty! I'm so glad you enjoyed this
This premise sounds incredibly compelling and frustrating all at once. So glad you enjoyed it. Fantastic review, Caz!
I can already tell that this story will both frustrate me and make me cry for loving it. Definitely adding it to my TBR. Glad you enjoyed it ♡♡♡♡
It enrages me that using a man's name was the thing that got her published! But I'm so happy to hear this was a feel good read with a character to root for. Debra has gotten hersef into quite the pickle there. Fab review Caz! ❤️
Thank you so much, Cristina! I hope you’re reading something just as wonderful and enjoying every minute of it, lovely! 🖤✨
Thank you so much, Gabriela! Debra deserved to have her name on those bestsellers, and as for him, well, he was a gold-digging dude with his eyes firmly on the prize! 🖤✨
A woman who had to pretend she was a man to be accepted as a writer?! Does that sort of thing still happen?!
Glad to know this one was a winner for you, my dear Caz. Your enthusiasm made this a truly terrific review! 😍🌻
Alexia, this was such an easy story to follow, and I completely lost myself in her journey. I really think you’re going to love this one! I’ll be so interested to hear your thoughts when you’ve read it. 🖤✨
Thank you, Esta! Debbie wanted to get her book published, and the moment she changed her name to Mr, she finally got her chance. Unfortunately, the man she dated saw an opportunity of his own. They say what goes around comes around, and he certainly got what was coming to him in the end! 🖤✨
