A separate author-photo question: can a librarian set the main photo on a claimed author profile, or is that only possible through Goodreads support? My claimed page is https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... . The replacement form rejects valid JPEG and PNG files, and removing the old photo has left the profile blank. I have contacted support about the upload error. Thank you.

There should be no reason you can't upload a photo to your own profile. Librarians cannot do it, so you'll need to contact support.

Second edition update for The Cognitive Crisis in AI-Augmented Work (my claimed author page, goodreads.com/author/show/72616426). The first edition (ISBN 9798241450630, ASIN B0GD1ZWXQN) has been unpublished and replaced by a second edition. Could a librarian update the existing book page, goodreads.com/book/show/245901692, so it does not become a duplicate:

Update on the second edition request: the Kindle edition has now been auto-created as goodreads.com/book/show/260817141 and is attached to a different Zafar Alam (the Bengali translator, 29 books). That page is my book (Kindle ASIN B0HMJX8HJN, 103 pages, published 9 October 2026), so it is another wrong-author case like my other book above.

Could a librarian please:
