Thank you, Karen. 🌸 I feel it's worse in graphic novels because the illustrations make it impossible not to see how they depict women.

wow this cover is stunning! I'm glad to hear the illustrations throughout were just as beautiful. very fair and valid critiques in terms of what didn't work so well for you. I'm not familiar with the original source material / events this book draws from, but those misrepresentations would certainly bother me as well. lovely review beautiful bestie 💜

Took a look on Amazon and those illustrations do look good. Seems like a good concept and it’s clear a lot of work was put into it, though you have some good points. It’s impressive how many insights we can glimpse in even just a handful of your words. Good review, Srivalli.
