Having read a Sandra Brown novel, I can concur that the romantic suspense reads sometimes do make it about the relationship, rather than the mystery, so your critique is valid, Karen, in a very fair, honest review. ❤️🩹

I am currently listening to the Lucy Kincaid series, but I don’t think I saw 4.5 being available on Libby as an audio.
While I enjoy the series the romance does tend to take away from some of the books for me, especially the earlier ones. I can only handle so much cheesy romantic moments. But I have to remember that it’s romantic suspense so I have to put up with that part if I want the mystery and suspense part😂.
I see what you mean. I do enjoy such stories, but balance is important. Looks like this collection has stories set in many existing worlds!
