Eric Kirby The third book in my YA M/M series, I’m With The (Boy) Band: Spring Break will be released in November. I’m excited to share it.

--------------------------

When Jaxsper Finn is selected to join the reality show I’m With The Band, he expects to spend six weeks awkwardly coexisting with Three North, a band made up of three famous brothers.

What he doesn’t expect is Aiden North: charming, vulnerable, and just as trapped by the cameras as Jaxsper is.

As their connection deepens under constant surveillance, Jaxsper starts to realize that reality TV is anything but real. Every moment is filmed, edited, shaped, and packaged for an audience. And when his secret relationship with Aiden threatens both Aiden’s carefully managed career and the show’s preferred storyline, Jaxsper faces an impossible choice: protect what they have by fading into the background, or fight to be seen in a world that isn’t ready to see them.

I’m With The (Boy) Band is a queer YA romance about privacy, performance, first love, and the cost of being seen — or choosing not to be.

Set in 2000, during the early days of reality TV, before smartphones and social media, this is a story about finding something real in a world obsessed with “reality.” It’s a time capsule of mixtapes, LiveJournal feelings, boy-band posters, dial-up internet, and the terrifying intimacy of being watched before anyone had the language for what that meant.

The Arc of the Series:
• Book 1 — I'm With The (Boy) Band: Can love survive being seen?
• Book 2 — I'm With The (Boy) Band: On Tour: Can love survive being hidden?
• Book 3 — I'm With The (Boy) Band: Spring Break: Can love survive complete chaos? (coming soon)
