Regina Sage Super cool you have this up! I look forward to finding new authors in this thread!

I have two books in a series out now, a third coming out next month. If you like smut, the sea, and outer space, you might enjoy it. It's on the explicit side of spicy (not recommended for bell-pepper spice fans unless you want to dive deep into new stuff). https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Also, for other authors out there, I consult on language/voice use in text. If you have questions, want to brainstorm, or just want to know some good resources for that sort of thing, DM me!

Hi everyone ✨
I’m Robert Ginger, an indie author diving deep into romantasy — where forbidden love, ancient prophecies, and dangerous magic collide. My newest novel blends slow-burn romance with a richly built fantasy world and a touch of fate you can’t escape.

If you enjoy emotional, character-driven stories with both heart and tension, I’d love to share a free PDF copy with a few readers here.
👉 Just drop me a quick private message if you’d like one, and I’ll be happy to send it over.

Thanks for letting me share, and happy reading! 💫📚

Note: As of today, a new version has been uploaded to reflect edits pointed out to me by other ARC readers that my editor and I missed.

Blurb:
I'm just a girl who wants to make something of myself without having to sacrifice my morals or without spilling my deepest secrets. Especially since they aren't just mine to keep. When a mass murder puts a spotlight on me that I'd spent a lifetime trying to avoid, at the same time as other unfortunate events, I'm forced to let a stranger in to help keep my sins hidden. The problem with that is, I don't have a good history with people keeping my secrets and leaving knives lodged in my back. Oh yeah, and my best friend just signed me up on the latest dating app. Between meeting and yeeting a new guy every night, I'm dodging a hothead investigator and trying to find a killer.

Thalara Voss Seeking ARC Readers — Shadow-Ward and Light (Dark Fae Romantasy)

Hi everyone! I'm Thalara Voss, a debut author, and I'm looking for ARC readers for my dark fae romantasy Shadow-Ward and Light, Book One of The Cinder Crown Chronicles.

The book:
He's blood-oathed to kill her. He's choosing to save her instead.
Aria is human, powerless, and dragged to the Obsidian Palace to compete in trials where fifteen enter and one survives. She's hiding something the kingdom burned to extinction two centuries ago — Lightbringer magic. Forbidden. Hunted. And the brutal trials meant to destroy her are waking it up instead.
Prince Caelan Nightshade is the Queen's perfect weapon. Blood-oathed to execute any surviving Lightbringer without mercy. Instead he pulls her into the shadows and teaches her to survive — with hands already scarred by the oath that will eventually force him to choose.

Details:

Genre: Dark Fae Romantasy
Tropes: Enemies-to-lovers, slow burn, forbidden magic, deadly trials, morally gray MMC, powerless to powerful FMC, he falls first
Dual POV — Aria & Caelan
Complete story with HEA — series continues in Book Two

Word count: 87,000 words
Content warnings: Violence, deadly trials, blood magic, execution scenes, mature themes (18+)

What I'm asking:
An honest review posted on Goodreads and/or Amazon after reading. That's it. Positive, negative, or mixed — I just want genuine thoughts. No deadline pressure, no word count minimum.
Comp titles:
A Court of Thorns and Roses | Fourth Wing | From Blood and Ash

Coby Birch Hi all, is anyone here interested in clean Romantasy? Mine takes place in Cambridge University (England) and includes genetics and a unicorn (among other magical creatures.) It's The Unicorn Bond. More detail below.

THE UNICORN BOND

Two men are in love with Sylvette.

One charming, poetic and supportive. The other fierce, demanding and obsessed with science.

Which one can she trust?

Because Sylvette has a task. She must find the Touchstone, an ancient relic at Cambridge University which can tell truth from lies.

She also has a secret. She is an Animalist, part of a genetic line with hidden animal companions, who protect their humans from all natural dangers. Only her unicorn can sense the Touchstone.

Robert wants to get rid of the Magic gene so the Animalists can live 'normal' lives.

Benno wants to protect the Animalists from the harm the gene does.

Sylvette's heart will determine the future of magic.

What is she willing to lose to keep the magic alive?

A story of genetics, ethics and love.

Perfect for readers who love:
Intelligent Romance
Slow burn Romance
Love triangle tension
Magical animal bonds
Ancient university setting

Comment and I'll send you the link to the ARC (easy to read on Kindle)

Thanks!

'Golden Compass vibes' and 'What a great start to a fantastic series!'

I'll be starting the second book soon.

Hi Coby,
this actually sounds super interesting 😄 Cambridge, genetics, unicorns, magical creatures… that’s such a fun and different mix for romantasy. I also love stories with an ethical/scientific angle and slow-burn tension, so I’d definitely be interested in reading it!

Would love the ARC link — although I don’t have a Kindle, so hopefully that’s still okay and I’m not too late 😊

message 16: by Matthew (new)

Matthew Hi everyone — I'm a reader, not an author, so this is a little different from the usual posts here. Rule 4 says I can promote myself once a week, so I hope a tool counts.

I'm a political scientist at Harvard and a longtime lover of sci fi and fantasy, who ended up reading a lot of romantasy after stumbling onto some BookTok creators on Facebook Reels. I got frustrated with how challenging it is to find well-written books in the genre — trope lists tell you what's in a book, not whether the writing holds up — and for me good writing, dialogue, etc. is essential for immersing myself in a story. So, just for fun, I built a tool to help solve that problem.

It's called Prose & Thorns (proseandthorns.com). It combines trope and subgenre filtering with quality scoring synthesized from real reader reviews — scoring each book on prose quality, romance quality, world-building, pacing, emotional payoff, and character depth — based on what real readers say about a book. You can set minimum quality bars, filter by content warnings and spice level, or put in books you love and get recommendations that share their tropes and clear your quality bar.

The catalog is around 300 titles right now — curated rather than exhaustive while I figure out if the concept is actually useful to people other than myself. Completely free, no signup required.

If anyone's willing to kick the tires and tell me what works, what doesn't, or what's missing, I'd genuinely appreciate it. There's a contact form on the site, or just comment here.

Many thanks!

— Matt

J.B.K. J.B.K. The Woman Who Stole a Dragon — a Korean romantic fantasy about the price of trust

Hello, I’m JB.K, the author of the Korean original of The Woman Who Stole a Dragon.

Seorin needs 300 gold to save her family home. Turning in a wanted dragon would earn it. Helping him recover three stolen eggs would earn exactly the same amount. His condition: “You will not sell me.”

Their first meeting is less majestic: she finds him in her trap, eating the smoked duck she used as bait. If you enjoy a practical heroine, sharp exchanges, and a relationship shaped by difficult choices, this complete, illustrated fantasy romance may be your kind of story.

You can try the opening sample on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HKHFQ7QV
The English Kindle edition is also included with a Kindle Unlimited membership.

For transparency: I wrote the Korean original; the English translation was generated with ChatGPT, and the illustrations were AI-generated. The book contains strong language, romantic kissing, and fantasy violence.

Thank you for making space for authors to introduce their work here.
