I thought I should introduce myself as I've recently joined the group. I'm Terence, from the UK, and I've had a fascination with Anne Boleyn and the Tudor period for many years.
That interest eventually led me to write about Anne myself, although perhaps from a rather unusual perspective. My work approaches her story through what I describe as channelled conversations with Anne, alongside the historical world in which she lived. I realise that's a little different from the usual historical biography or novels we usually see, where the authors rely on records and historical facts, I approach things from a totally new perspective, by going direct to Anne 'Nan' herself. But it has made my interest in Tudor history even deeper.
I'm particularly fascinated by the woman behind the history — how much we can really know about Anne herself, as opposed to the reputation that was created around her during her lifetime and afterwards.
I'm looking forward to reading the discussions here, learning from people who clearly know and love the Tudor period, and joining in when I have something useful to contribute.
