Blurb
Sadistic work coach James Burgess has finally bagged his dream job after three years of trying, two hundred miles from home in rural Gwynedd, north Wales. But with promotion firmly in mind, cutting the jobcentre's wage bill soon becomes his sport, at any cost, leaving a trail of chaos and hunger in his wake.

As house prices soar and job prospects dwindle, many of James' ''casualties of war'' wind up at Morywelon homeless hostel, where the waiting list is insatiable. Managing such a place takes gall, and Denise Groves' ten-year stint certainly took its psychological toll. But she's back for a second spell, to the job she loved and held since leaving school with no GCSEs.

The catch? Well, this time, their security guards have been laid off...

Denise fiercely defends residents against ignorant scorn the wider community assumes to inflict, so is held in the highest regard by most. But tough decisions must be made, and hell-raisers don't always leave when asked nicely...

Denise needs her support network more than ever, but it's fallen off a cliff. After a decade in the 'single lane', all best mate Jules wants is to set her up. Great, if only for Jules' dodgy choice of men. Seedy, serial cockney scammer Rick is her latest, and has a few turbulent potential answers for Denise's 'problem'.

Lorcan Volkov Hi Brody,

I might have something for you - 32K dark humour, psych thriller with LGBTQ+adjacent themes. All digital formats are available. In case its not your thing, it deals with adult themes so theres sex, violence, drug use, language, etc.

Blurb: Brendan McFadden is an accomplished, rugby-playing doctor from Cork for whom everything in life has fallen nicely into place. His school friend, Trevor, hasn’t been so lucky: he’s in a miserable marriage and his career has so far been a series of false starts and financial disasters.

A lads’ weekend in Amsterdam sets off a dark chain of events, forcing Brendan to confront long-buried truths—not just about Trevor, but also about himself.

What begins as a humorous meditation on middle-aged malaise quickly spirals into a whirlwind of envy, betrayal, and suppressed longing. From the bleak isolation of a hotel bar on Amsterdam’s outskirts to the rugged beauty of Ireland’s Tory Island, Brendan’s carefully constructed world begins to unravel in ways that are both absurdly comic and profoundly unsettling.

With biting humour, an astute eye for the absurdities of human behaviour and some satisfying twists, Knives and Forks is a wickedly entertaining tale of fragile egos, simmering tensions, and the messy truths that emerge when façades crumble.

Perfect for readers who enjoy character-driven literary fiction with a sharp comedic edge, Knives and Forks is a richly layered debut that will leave you laughing, cringing, and questioning where the line between sanity and madness truly lies.

Parker Williamson Hi!
I'm a debut romance author. My book is coming out Aug. 30 2025.

For the month of July I would like to give my book away for free. I would appreciate an honest review, but even that is optional.

If you are interested here is a download link. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vq8s...

The book is 'The Governor's Daughter : A Contemporary Romance about Truth, Freedom, Beauty and Love' by Parker Williamson

Camilla Reyes was raised with all the qualities the United States expects from a Pacific territory: beauty, wealth, and obedience. But when she publicly champions independence for her homeland of Hangua, defying her father—the island's powerful governor—the colony erupts in chaos. To contain the fallout, Camilla is forced into an arranged marriage.

Desperate to escape, Camilla strikes a deal with the last man she'd ever trust: Senator Julian Oz, the sharp-tongued politician who humiliated her on live television. Experienced and ruthlessly disciplined, Julian sees opportunity in Camilla as dangerous attraction ignites between them—under his tutelage, they go from enemies to lovers. To survive, she must become the perfect partner to a man who’s either using her… or falling for her.

This puts her on a collision course with Mari Cruz—Camilla’s best friend. From friend to lover, now lover to enemy, they shared one kiss too many before Camilla’s engagement to Julian shattered everything. As tensions escalate between the United States and China, the two women who once shared everything now face each other on opposite sides of Hangua's most divisive fight: statehood or independence—a battle that will determine their island's fate.

On Hangua, politics is legacy, love is currency, and betrayal is the price of freedom.

For fans of Enemies to Lovers, Arranged Marriages, Fake Engagements, Sapphic Love, Political Romance and Love Triangles.

Leon Collin Hi Greyson!

Saw your post looking for thriller/mystery ARCs. ODYSSEUS might be perfect for you!

It's a literary retelling of Homer's Odyssey with thriller pacing (Madeline Miller meets Ken Follett): psychological suspense, survival tension, and the mystery of whether Odysseus will make it home alive. Historical fiction, but structured like a thriller - momentum, twists, and morally complex characters.

If you enjoy thrillers with depth and character-driven mysteries, this could work well for you.

Interested? I can send the Kindle version right away. Honest review would be much appreciated!

Best,
Leon G. Collin

Hi Greyson! I see you’re into Thrillers and Mystery, which is awesome. If you ever feel like taking a 5-minute 'palate cleanser' with something visually stunning and heartfelt, I’d love to offer you my debut, 'One of a Kind Creatures'.

It’s a short, richly illustrated fiction story about a group of misfit animals (a vegetarian lion, a short-necked giraffe, etc.) navigating the 'mystery' of being different. I have the Kindle version ready for you! Let me know if you’d like to give it a quick read and review. Have a great day!

C. Jordan Gray Empires don’t collapse in battle. They collapse in the decisions that follow.

Hidden Sol War is a high-concept political science fiction thriller set more than a decade after an interstellar conflict that nearly shattered civilization. Through the voices of council officials, soldiers, survivors, and those who stood just outside the firestorm, the truth behind the war slowly surfaces — and with it, the consequences of choices made at the highest levels of power.

This is a politically driven story with strategic tension, moral ambiguity, and the lingering shockwaves of a conflict too large to

If you enjoy political intrigue in the vein of Dune or council-level tension similar to The Expanse, I’d value your perspective.
