Alexis Albrecht Hey there,

I have a degree in translation, so I decided to give it a go and translate one of my books from Spanish into English. It's called Frost, an urban fantasy that follows a 32-year-old warlock who has to face both a case involving dark magic... and his ex-lover. Think of Harry Potter for adults with LGBTQ representation.

Here's the synopsis:

Jackson Grey is a warlock who seems to have it all: an amazing wife, two adorable children, and the job he has always dreamed of as a detective at the Surveillance and Investigation Agency, the department responsible for protecting the magical world. But his seemingly perfect life takes an unexpected turn when one of his colleagues asks for his help investigating a series of murders committed with dark magic.

The investigation not only puts Jackson face-to-face with a dark and ruthless power unlike anything seen in decades, but also forces him to reunite with Quinn Hannelore, his first love, with whom he must work side by side to stop the darkness from spreading.

With the magical world facing a growing threat, Jack will risk everything to save both those he loves and himself.

You can find it on Kindle Unlimited. Also, if you message me, I can give you a free copy, since I just released the book.

Aurora Cold Jackson already having a family gives the reunion with Quinn real consequences beyond the investigation. I like the tension in needing to trust someone professionally when the personal history between them is still unresolved.

Alexis Albrecht Exactly! We're talking about grown-up problems here. Even though it's urban fantasy with a YA feel, I wanted to touch on subjects aimed at a more mature audience.
