We will set up a poll to nominate a book for the BOTM. We will vote on which book to review for that month. Read and share your thoughts on the work.

Can I have nominations for the October Book of the Month?

Is there a theme? or just BDSM themed book.

Since I've never done this before I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks for the invite, JM. In my horror group they usually have a theme just to make it a bit more organized. For example we can suggest books that feature bondage as a main theme. Each person gets to nominate a book and plus 1 one other nomination.

Let's start off with a bondage theme. Then we can see where it goes.

I use to be a mod in 2 groups in the past. It's been a few years but I remembered that BOM was usually a popular activity in it.

I say we go for any age book. Make nominations and let everyone vote. I think members of the group can create polls.

I can lend a hand with folder creation and challenges if you'd like. So we can do nom's for a few days or til we have say 5 books. Then we can start a discussion thread with the start and end date of the challenge.

I read it when it was first released but I didnt realize it was part of a series now. I only remember certain scenes. I think I enjoyed it tho.

Lights Out sounds interesting. I've read Claiming of Sleeping Beauty but would read it again, it's pretty good. Anne Rice can be so naughty.

I loved the Mayfair Witches. I read it back in high school. I would have thought my memories of it were foggy but when I watched the first season of the tv show, I knew all the things that were changed.

Oh, I need to watch that show. Been meaning to. Love the books, might be a bit too long for a book club, though. Claiming is better for that.

Agree. I think each book of the trilogy got longer than the previous installment. I thought the show was ok. It was beautiful but felt more shallow than the Interview With the Vampire show. Now that show I love.

I haven't read any of those. Funny that i noticed my favorite YA author read Lights Out and gave it 5 stars!!(really the only one I read so far because I typically read more adult)

I haven't read that but I can see if they have it at my local library. :)
