I would prefer that you friend me, but will not require it. Being in the lifestyle, I am fully aware that some people prefer to be voyeurs, to watch but not be seen. It’s actually a fetish.

I understand that some feel uneasy participating in some of the adult topics discussed here, but still want to read the posts. That’s okay. I want you to be comfortable here and have fun. Once you see we’re not sex-craving maniacs (well, some at least), I hope you will make friends and open up. There is no pressure.

in another group i’m in the mod ask the members to list a couple of books to read for the month, he sets up a poll, and that’s the book they’ll read.
while the current book reading is happening he sets books for the following month in advance, so that members can have time to grab their books (if it’s a library book sometimes it takes longer to arrive)

the only time you had to friend a mod when joining a group is when the group is private or a secret
you just need to friend one mod to invite you to their group, and you don’t need to friend each mod.

Is there a way to talk privately with a Mod on GR if you friend them? Otherwise I don't get it? DMs are gone here right?

There is not. So, the whole vetting thing doesn't make sense. This group is marked as "Adult," and the rules clearly state you have to be 18 or older to join. GR has rules and they apply to this group.

I am not on some power trip about forcing people to friend other people. I'm just trying to provide a "No Drama" group for people to feel comfortable.
