Ashok Hariharan Hello everyone, I'm Ashok Hariharan, a first-time author from Chennai, India, and my book The Adulting Gap is on Kindle.

About the book: it's a non-fiction field manual on the things nobody taught us: money and marriage, in-laws, aging parents, raising kids in a digital world, and job insecurity. It argues that adulthood is a set of learnable skills rather than a personality trait some people are born with. It's written with an Indian lens, for readers in their 20s to 40s, but the everyday pressures it covers are familiar to readers anywhere.

Why I wrote it: I kept noticing, in my own life and in conversation after conversation with people my age, that everyone was carrying real responsibilities without anyone ever having taught them how. This book is my attempt to write down what nobody handed me.

Where to get it
- Kindle eBook on Amazon UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0GX2ZWNZF
- Paperback with international shipping, via Pothi: https://store.pothi.com/book/ashok-ha...
- Chapter 1 is free at https://www.ashokhariharan.com/

I'd love to hear what you think if you read it, and an honest rating or review on Goodreads or Amazon would mean a lot. I'll be happy to answer questions here.

Carol Dobson Have you also posted it on the group Indian Readers, Ashok? I should think they would be interested. There are some very keen readers there.
