So happy to hear "Darksight Dare" is coming, and happy for more folks to get a copy of this book!
A welcome decision but a little odd. Although it slipped by me at the time, a news item on Locus Mag (online) in June has it that Sub Press is going out of business, closing all operations by (est.) end of 2027. See:

I've wondered what effect this will have on future Penric stories. Besides Baen, NESFA has a number of your titles and I wondered whether one of the other might take up the series. Hope the series can continue and be worth your while some way or other.

At the moment, SubPress and I are even-steven. The two remaining Penric novellas are in their publishing pipeline, and will be out before they close up shop. The retiring publisher-owner has murmured about continuity in passing my stuff along to a comparable house, but until I write something more it's moot.
I consider my indie ebook publication to be my primary outlet and main income stream. SubPress, Blackstone, and foreign rights sales are after-market add-ons, welcome but not essential.
