This was a heart wrenching book. The epilogue was very difficult to read because it’s true. I live in the area where this story took place and know a few homeless people. Every one has a story. Thank you, Joy and Dan, for exposing the truth about homelessness. Sometimes it is a mental health issue and other times it is one sad circumstance after another. I will be referring this book to my friends.
