Jeffrey Ogochukwu My classic horror novel, Stay Away, has been sitting on Amazon's digital shelves for weeks, quietly trying to find its way into the hands of readers. Despite the captivating tale it held within its pages, the book's cover seemed to be an obstacle rather than an invitation. It was clear that something needed to change. Just recently, I changed the book cover. To my absolute delight, the response has been incredible, with sales skyrocketing beyond my expectations. And guess what? I'm overjoyed to share that my book has now claimed the No. 1 spot on Amazon Free Bestsellers list, not just in one marketplace, but in both the US and UK! 📚🌟 This goes to show that a book is truly judged by its cover.

Richard Dietz I like the covers for my Undead Nightmare Series. They make me want to read my own work. As a lifelong horror buff, I was always attracted to exciting-looking covers.

I especially like this one:

Undead Nightmare : Book #6

E.B. Hauk Both of you guys have really solid covers, especially you, Jeffrey. I am a sucker for typography and the broken cover font really sells it, imo.

I put together this cover which I'm really proud of.

The cover of your book looks great! I tried reaching out to people through different platforms to see if anyone was interested in reading my book, but no one replied. I mean to say that it's very difficult to reach people. I created my book cover by hand; I liked the idea of putting something unique and bizarre. I'll leave my link so you can share your opinion.

Justin I did the cover for my latest novel, Nightshade Station: A Chilling Psychological Thriller and it's compliment short story, Blood on the Boardwalk: A Nightshade Station Short Story. It was my first time ever doing my own covers.

Callie Barratt I’m really proud of my cover for 'The Magic They Locked Away' because it captures the heart of my story at a glance. The contrast between the cold asylum corridor and the raw green magic shows exactly what the book explores—power trapped where it doesn’t belong. The main character looks haunted but defiant, which mirrors her journey, and I love that it raises questions before you even open the book. I wanted readers to feel uneasy, curious, and pulled in, wondering what’s been locked away and who the real monster is.

Todd Brown Here is my cover....lots of layers, like the story. The goal is that the more you look at it, the more you see.

Josh Douglas I'm immediately turned off by AI (atrociously impersonal?) covers. I feel the author doesn't feel their book is worth real art made by human beings.
Regardless, here's my cover. I drew the picture myself, chose the font, and the colors.
