Good review. I felt the same. Definitely a disconnect between the gravity/horror of the situation and how it was written. I read almost half and gave up.

Thanks Carolyn, I had seen mixed reviews going in, but went for it as that piqued my curiosity, and it was small.

Hi Rowan, yes the reviews were definitely mixed.

Yes! It felt like a very inappropriately lighthearted portrayal of a very serious situation.
