I’m Jolanta—a mom of four, including my wonderful autistic son. Like many of you, I’ve been looking for a community where I truly belong. Raising my son alongside his siblings—facing trials, prejudice, and building a thick skin—gave me the courage to write our story. My debut memoir, "They Don’t See Me: A Mother’s Memoir of Autism," is about accepting a diagnosis and navigating an unkind world. A bitter paradox unfolded in our lives: while my son became a global YouTube sensation inspiring millions, people in our daily life kept looking away. I felt a deep need to write this book, especially after his teacher explicitly forbade me from speaking out about the inhumane treatment he faced at school.
Amazon doesn't allow free promo codes, but I have a few digital copies for iPhone, iPad, or Mac users. I’m not asking for a good review—just an honest one if you're open to sharing. You are also welcome to just keep your thoughts to yourself after reading. Send me a friend request or direct message if you’d like a copy!
P.s. I hope I’m not breaking any group rules by looking for readers here...
