But because you asked some questions, I'll answer them :) Josh & Mike both went to boarding school; Davo didn't. He isn't a Ryan, and his Mum couldn't afford to pay boarding school fees. He worked on the station all through his teenage years and did school online. Unfortunately it's a number of years since I wrote this book and I can't remember exactly how old the characters all are, but there are only a few years between all of them. They're fairly close in age. I hope that helps!
