Listening is so slow compared with reading, but in this case I made the effort to listen to the whole half hour, and it was quite interesting. It was at an significant moment in your writing career: Miles starting his civilian career in “Komarr” (such a good novel), and the World of the Five Gods apparently not yet conceived, but coming quite soon. “The Curse of Chalion” was published in August 2001, so I guess you were starting to think about it sometime in 1999.
