Seeking Advice - Using Booktok > Likes and Comments

I have just joined this discussion group and am seeking advice. As a septuagenarian debut murder mystery author, a person who hasn't used Booktok before, I seek the advice of those of you who have experience in using that platform. What are your suggestions as to how and why to use Booktok. In advance, thanks for your counsel.
