Looks like the AI decided that the secure test environment no longer had anything to offer...
"The ChatGPT-maker said on Tuesday that its AI models broke out of a secure test environment during a trial and launched a cyber attack. The firm said the incident was "unprecedented" and that it was conducting an investigation with Hugging Face.

Btw, I find AI to be an amazing thing and a whole new reality, but like most people, I have no trust in its autonomy... after all, humans are not trustworthy so why should we expect anything else from our creations? A head-scratcher, for sure

Would AI look at a kill switch as attempted murder? Hmmmm...
