I enjoyed your review far more than the 70 pages of this book that I managed to stomach.
Don’t forget he’s “exquisitely handsome” or whatever the author had that married woman turn around and say at the end of the first bestowal for some reason.

Ugh. Thank you. I literally was trying to explain what I hated about this book to my mom and was like "the author is all 'you should love Black people, even though they're Black!" And my mom says "I think Theo just really loves everyone!" And I could not convince her that it was actually a massive pile of cheese.
You are now my review goddess! You captured everything I disliked about this Hallmark movie screenplay! Actually, that's an insult to Hallmark movies because at least occasionally their characters have a conversation that sounds like real humans might say it. . .
Thank you for this review! You’ve spared me the time! Wow. I basically skimmed the 2nd half to get to the punchline. Don’t forget that seriously mentally ill people get better right away if you’re nice enough to them!
I’m glad this book was written because it really opened my eyes to the fact that homeless people can sometimes read.

It's true! Most would have never thought of this! But Theo has shown us that, just maybe, homeless people might not be illiterate lunatics after all. They might have... Humanity?? Think about it. :)
