I was honestly the most curious about the dog.
Your comment about the dog 😂. I was focused on that too. And I can’t keep the people and time period straight.
The dog was clearly a symbol of the emotional, physical, and metaphysical ties between Mo and Eniiyi by clearly not distinguishing between the two himself. His death also represents the severing of the two and Eniiyi's choice to live by herself, with her own agency.
Especially since he was such a big dog lol.
