Intriguing review. But where do you stand on salad cream?
Basically mayo, same as lager, ale and stout are all covered by my dislike of beer. Though in some ways the implication that it's going on salad makes it slightly worse. Hell, I don't even like salad dressing.
No it's a good call. To be fair I don't think I've actually seen salad cream since the 80s.
I only lived in the UK for a year and fortunately managed to miss salad cream. If it's anything like mayo, I don't want it. I include bechamel which in my opinion tastes like warm mayonnaise.
Anyway, the book sounds interesting.
