Hi everyone, I am Theo and I love the Fantasy world. I got hooked by the genre when I first read Hans Christian Andersen's stories and now I'm exploring the Fantasy Realm at its best. The Oblivion series starts off introducing naturally forming shimmering portals on the landscape.They are unexplainable by the people, as they are one-way and therefore are not able to be told of their true nature by anyone returning.
Book 2 outlines their true nature.
Book 3 introduces the creation of an AI to govern the civilisation, which takes an interest in the portals and develops synthetic versions that can be worn as personal transport devices.
The civilisation becomes interplanetary.
With population explosion comes defiance of the governing system and the only way to save the civilisation is to wipe everyone's memory and house all citizens on planets that are not their home-world.
The AI develops Redemption Protocols that are more difficult to achieve than they seem and a considerable amount of time passes.
Books 4-13 follow the main character Tan, as he achieves the goal of Redemption.
Book 14 follows his life after the civilisation has returned to its former glory.
And onward and upward and so-on and so-forth.
It's an interesting journey...
