message 14: by Kristina (new)

Kristina Morozova I think I've read it somewhere on his website that he gives 5 stars to almost all books here on goodreads, just not to offend any fellow authors, but to support them instead. I might be wrong though

From Sanderson's review of Project Hail Mary

"I only recommend things if I like them. So basically, I give everything five stars. This is because you shouldn’t be coming to me for an in-depth look at a book because the last thing an author needs is Brandon Sanderson trashing their book. If I don’t like a book, I’m just not going to recommend it. If I do like a book, I will recommend it, and I will talk about it, and I will give it a five-star rating, mostly to indicate you should listen to the review, or watch the review, or read the review, and see if it’s a book for you."

Everett Allsmith Hi all,

I write as Everett Allsmith, epic fantasy with a wild, mythic streak rather than grimdark. My debut, The Last Calorin, is out on Kindle and paperback, and my second novel, Iron Conquest, is available for Kindle preorder ahead of its August 7 release.

Iron Conquest follows a fifteen year old blacksmith's son with a figurative wolf inside him, one that wants to destroy. As he fights against a supernatural darkness, he struggles to tame the beast he carries, and eventually comes face to face with death incarnate.

I run a small but growing newsletter (a little over 200 readers) with an exclusive Thorgar Bloodmaw short story as the reader magnet. If you write in adjacent fantasy space and are open to a newsletter swap ahead of the Iron Conquest launch, I would love to talk. I am happy to feature your reader magnet or new release for mine, and I can be flexible on send dates.

Reach me through my website at everettallsmith.com or reply here.

Everett
