V. Tacet Hi everyone. I'm V. Tacet, and my first novel just came out.

Synopsis: Hank Bell is hired to care for a wealthy family after a loss. He reads people the way others read weather, the angle of a fork, the pause before a sentence. When he starts taking their unspoken wishes literally, the care turns into something else. It's psychological horror, quiet and slow, no gore.

How to get a copy: free on Amazon Kindle through July 15, then it goes back to paid. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H86C9DR6

If you review it, I'd genuinely rather hear the honest version than a kind one. Thanks for reading.

Wow - what a synopsis (the Amazon one)! I already downloaded your book and so you can expect a read and review from me on Goodreads, Amazon.in, Fable and StoryGraph ASAP. My ARC and other (reasons) reading schedule is really hectic right now - but I'll fit you in. Horror after all happens to be my favorite genre. And Psychological Horror - that is a class apart always for me! Thank you for sharing your book 'Raw Hunger' on this page. Stay connected with me. If I adore the book - I'll request you for an interview on one of my online platforms.

God be with you!

Leena Das Hi everyone! I am Leena, an independent author based in Australia. I recently published Twice Proven, inspired by rebuilding confidence after relocating and starting over. If you enjoy personal growth books, I would be grateful if you would consider adding it to your TBR. And if you decide to read it, I would truly appreciate an honest Goodreads review. Thank you for supporting indie authors. 🤍

Hi Leena! :) :D

First of all - welcome to Goodreads as a debut indie-author. Congratulations on the publication of your first or latest (maybe you have written earlier works?!) book. Well done. Rooting for you and your book's success.

Yes, I have already TBRd your book, and it is a tiny thing, so I will probably schedule you by the end of this month, July 2026. I am glad to read and review your book and will pruchase it ASAP once I am done with my hectic schedule of tuitions today (that is an everyday situation with me but - no worries - I can handle it, been handling it for 21 years of teaching now) and once I am free of my ministry work for tonight as well (Lay Catholic Nun - busy all the time). If not and I have to travel because of ministry work - it will be purchased by the day after tomorrow.

I shall read your book and give you an honest opinion of it via a review on Goodreads, Amazon.in, Fable and StoryGraph. If I really like the book, then I these days even go ahead and offer interviews for the concerned authors of these works on my internationally popular and very sought after online platforms:

You can expect an honest review from me soon. If I forget, feel free to remind me about the same via the following:

Fiza Pathan's Phone Number: 9820763499 (Don't forget to add the India code at the beginning if you are an international author)

Continue to stay in touch. Thank you for reaching out to GR readers and authors here on V's thread. But try making a chat thread of your own here on this GR Group for the same next time. God be with you!

Regards,

Fiza, thank you that means a lot. Take your time, there's no rush at all.

One thing, if you do get to the end: tell me whether you think Hank was a monster. I wrote the whole book around that question and I still don't have a clean answer.

I'd rather hear what you actually think than anything polite.

All the best with your own work.

V. Tacet
