Like real dark pls. I liked god of malice but I’m on book 3 of the legacy of gods series and I’m just not into it. Maybe it’s the university setting? The characters are all too cringe and juvenile for me idk.

Read the fallen trilogy by Adeline Humphries

You should definitely check out Red Flag Behind the Shadow of Love by Fred Wisdom. It’s a dark suspense romance based on true life events, diving straight into a dangerous, real-world power struggle. If you want a dangerous MMC who stays true to his dark nature, this hits the mark perfectly

I enjoyed that it isn't just about romance. It also explores free will, trust, identity, and whether our feelings can really be programmed. There are plenty of twists, emotional tension, and a mystery that kept me turning the pages.

If you enjoy dystopian romance, forbidden love, and science fiction with a thought-provoking premise, this one is definitely worth checking out.

Lorenzo by Sadie Kincaid. It’s the third book in the Chicago Ruthless series. It’s a mafia dark romance series.
