Agreed! I am going to start marking instances of animal cruelty in books so I can include them in my review, bc oftentimes I look at reviews for content warnings and my sole one is animal cruelty and to what extent. So far I have been able to handle it in this book and I think one bc of the way it’s written and two it’s easy to gloss over for me personally but I can tell not for everyone
