While it's a swoony romance at heart, it's also deeply personal to me. I spent over 21 years battling endometriosis, underwent 12 excision surgeries, a hysterectomy at 26, and the removal of my ovaries and tubes at 28. Writing this story became my way of giving a voice to so many people living with chronic pain who deserve to see themselves in a love story.
